Bike races

I found out about a bike outing early Sunday and since I had some free time, I decided to stop by. It was a relatively nice day and we were told we had full access to the course.

Well we did, including the river that I managed to slip into early on in the race. So I not only squished for the next hour and a half while I was photographing, but I smelled like swampy water.

Looking back on the day, I didn't realize that the course was mostly through the woods and I wish I would have brought a flash along to provide some fill light. Since this is a new course and they are trying to make the races more popular, the next time I'm there, I will know better.
