Rockford Summer Celebration

At the last minute, last night I decided to go up to Rockford to photograph the carnival. I had heard earlier in the day that one was in town. While I didn't get any good shots of the carnival, I did get some fireworks shots instead.

I also got hassled be a group of kids who didn't care for me taking their photo. One threatened to get his dad, who supposedly was a cop. I waited for 10 minutes or so for them to show back up, but it started to sprinkle. This older boy, almost college age, seemed to think he had some privacy rights to not have his picture taken in a public place. I laughed.
