Anonymity

I got an anonymous email today with a comment about this blog. At first I was kind of annoyed, because it didn't reference a specific post. Then I wondered who it was. I googled the name and nothing came up, and I tried one or two other things without any luck. Finally I wondered why I cared. I tell myself I believe in anonymity on the net, yet here I'm annoyed when someone comments without my being able to find out anything about them.

I guess I just need to be happy that people read this, people that I don't know. That is kind of mind blowing. I know what readership I have is small, but it is somewhat bigger than what I originally envisioned.

And any comments, even anonymous ones are welcome.
